Day: Notecards Class
Also called blue
printing and cyanotype, sun printing is an easy photographic process
that allows you to print images on paper, fabric and more-with
no photography knowledge required! Perfect for quilters, collage
artists, photographers, and home crafters, we'll cover the materials
and techniques you'll need to make successful sun prints at home.
Make a variety of samples, plus leave class with at least 3 completed
note cards, and the knowledge to create a variety of other sun
prints on your own. Perfect for Mother's Day gifts!

Art Museum's 52nd Annual Art, Book and Craft Fair held at the
Century II Exhibit Hall in downtown Wichita, Kansas. The show

"Lonely"
has been selected by the Colorado Council on the Arts to be a part
of the Creative Capitol - Metro Denver Edition exhibition showcasing
Colorado artists and images of our state. The show will begin
at Denver International Airport in early November, 2010. Please

work has just been accepted by the Mpls Photo Center in MInneapolis,
Minnesota for inclusion in their upcoming juried show, "Alternatives
- Unconventional and Uncommon Processes." If you
happen to be up that way, stop in at 2400 North Second Street, Minneapolis
and check out the show! The opening reception is November
5th, 2010, and the show runs until December 27th, 2010. Please

A good time was
had by all at this upscale fine arts and fine crafts show at the
Sacramento
Convention Center.

Despite the unfortunate events that closed the show an hour early
on Labor Day, attendees and artists alike had a wonderful time.
I was honored to be the recipient of one of four Awards of
Excellence by the the show's promoter, as well as the recipient
of a Purchase Award by Oklahoma City Community College. A
two person judging team selected "Winter
Aspens No. 2" for inclusion in the college's permanent
art collection. |

warm and breezy weekend greeted artists and shoppers at the 2010
Salida Riverside Fine Arts Festival in Salida, Colorado! Unfortunately

The Sweet Pea Festival
in Bozeman, Montana had a little wind and rain but that didn't
dampen the spirits of visitors to this popular community festival.

A great big thanks
to everyone who came out for the 32nd Downtown Boulder ArtFair
!
It was a blistering 104 degrees, but we had good crowds and a
lot of fun!

who came out to the Boulder Farmers Market April 24th for the
first art festival of the season! Despite leaving World HQ in
in a snow storm, we had a great day in Central Park.
